Scope :
- This course is designed to comply with the requirements of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, STCW 1978, as amended.
General objectives :
- The participant having completed the course will be able to meet the correct procedures in the various emergencies that may occur aboard a vessel of any size, to take the necessary measures to prevent panic of passengers and other crew inexperienced, to direct or guide passengers to the assembly points or embarkation; to give clear instructions; be familiar with all life-saving appliances and location.
Prerequisites:
- This course is available to people active sea and for those wishing to serve as seafarers, preferably for those who will be employed in smaller passenger boats or yacht owners.
- The participant must possess valid certification of the four basic courses maritime safety.
